Larned Legion wins one game

The Larned American Legion baseball team stunned Dodge City 7-4 and nearly upset an elite all-star team from Wichita in the Barton County Baseball Invitational. Larned will be the site of a Class AA Zone 5-6 Tournament starting July 19. Larned and Beloit qualified for Class AA State last year. Top-seeded Concordia beat Larned in the Class 4A-Division 2 state baseball semifinals in 2015.
