Longoria makes first appearance

Adam Joseph Longoria, the 36-year-old Great Bend man and person of interest in the Alicia DeBolt disappearance and death, is a flight risk and a possible public threat, Kansas Attorney General Steve Six told Barton County District Judge Hannelore Kitts Monday morning. As such, he should be held with a large enough bond to assure he sticks around.

Person of interest identified in Alicia DeBolt case caught

The Kansas Highway Patrol nabbed Adam Joseph Longoria of Great Bend, a person of interest in the death of 14-year-old Alicia DeBolt, mid Friday afternoon on Interstate 135 near Salina, Kansas Attorney General Steve Six said.

Body identified as Alicia DeBolt

The charred body found Tuesday afternoon was that of missing Great Bend teen Alicia DeBolt, Kansas Attorney General Steve Six said Thursday morning. During a news conference at the Kansas Bureau of Investigation Regional Office in Great Bend, Six also said his office would take over prosecution of the case, which is being treated as a homicide.

Identity of body still unknown

With rumors about the disappearance of 14-year-old Alicia DeBolt running rampant, positive identification of a body outside of Great Bend Tuesday afternoon won't be made until sometime today, said Kansas Attorney General's Office spokesman Gavin Young.
