The final link between Heartland Cancer Center (HCC) and the University of Kansas Cancer Center has been connected.
This week's Chamber of Commerce Coffee will be hosted by Sterling House at 1206 Patton Road, at 9:30 a.m., Thursday. Ambassador in charge will be AJ Chrest with greeters Karmi Green and Lynda Jamison. Coffee, doughnuts and door prizes will be available.

The award was presented by the United States Department of Defense's Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve program which recognizes employers "for outstanding service and continued support to the national defense".

LA CROSSE - Eugene "Gene" Jacobs, 83, died Wednesday, March 5, 2014 at his home.

At Great Bend Health and Rehabilitation's Valentine party on Feb. 14, all residents were noted as kings and queens, however with a draw of names of residents attending event, LaVane Rohr and Claudine Ringwald represented them as king and queen. They were crowned as Walt Pennington entertained with music. All residents were presented a red rose compliments of Dillons and their customers and cookies and punch were provided by Epsilon Sigma Alpha (Zeta Gamma Chapter).
