Barton County residents will soon be seeing the county appraisals on their property value as of Jan. 1. The appraisals are done based on the fair market value.

ELLINWOOD - Ellinwood city residents will see some new greenery in city parks for summer, and shades of red in the fall after new trees are planted. The City of Ellinwood and the Ellinwood Rotary Club have combined finances to purchase 15 trees for Wolf Park, City Park and Pohlman Park, and take out some dead or dying trees.
