ELLINWOOD - The City of Ellinwood will purchase property at 511 E. Santa Fe to provide additional storage of city equipment, the Ellinwood City Council decided at its meeting on Tuesday. An open-front shed will be built on the property which is located east of the city shop.

HOISINGTON - At its last city council meeting, the Hoisington City Council approved making Kindscher's Mule Barn, 157 and 161 S. Main St. a Community Improvement District which will allow for the collection of an extra half-cent sales tax only at that location, after a public hearing.
