Average retail gasoline prices in Kansas have continued their downward tumble, falling 5.9 cents per gallon in the past week, GasBuddy.com reported. The average earlier this week was $3 per gallon according to a daily survey of 1,329 gas outlets in the state. David Nichols, 30, of Hoisington was seriously injured Wednesday in a rollover accident on West K-4 near NW 100 Ave. According to the Barton County Sheriff's Office, Nichols was driving a Ford F-250 truck that slid on a patch of ice around 6:26 a.m. The truck slid into the ditch and rolled, ejecting the driver.
