The cost of employee health insurance at the Great Bend Recreation Commission is expected to increase 11 percent overall this year, Executive Director Diann Henderson told the GBRC Board of Directors on Monday. An early morning fire destroyed the Camp Aldrich dining hall on Saturday. It created an orange glow that could be seen from Claflin.
The Great Migration Rally plans for Sunday at the Kansas Wetlands Education Center have changed due to the fire at Camp Aldrich. The event will end at the Hoisington Knights of Columbus, 114 N. Main.
