The Barton County Sheriff's Office and local law enforcement are seeking the public's assistance in the location and apprehension of Justin E Peterson. Peterson skipped bond in June, when he failed to appear in the Barton County District Court. Several other warrants have been issued for his arrest. Peterson was out on bond stemming from drug related and other charges. He has a history of violent crime and weapons violations. A Barton Community College student who was taken into custody after a "physical altercation" with a teacher on Tuesday was upset about a grade on a final exam, Sheriff Brian Bellendir said.
