WICHITA – A Great Bend man has been sentenced to over 19 years in federal prison for producing child pornography, U.S. Attorney Barry Grissom said.

The 2012 wheat harvest is the earliest on record in Great Bend, said Rosie Meier, a grain accountant with Great Bend Co-op. GREAT BEND, Kan. (AP) - A memorial fund has been set up for the children of a Reno County jail deputy and his wife who died in a motorcycle crash during the weekend.
The driver of a motorcycle was taken to Wesley Medical Center in Wichita on Friday after rear-ending a car driven by a St. John resident, who was not injured, according to the Kansas Highway Patrol.
