A woman who was walking across Patton Road at 7:19 p.m. Tuesday on Eisenhower Ave. was hit by a vehicle. According to preliminary reports from the Great Bend Police Department, Scott Johnson was driving north in the 1300 block of Patton Road and struck Trudy Watson, 32, who was taken to Great Bend Regional Hospital with a possible leg injury.
The Great Bend Police Department is investigating a report of aggravated assault, and battery. Officers were dispatched to Charlie's Place, 1109 Main St., at 2:12 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 2, where a woman said that Jacob Davis pointed a gun at her and several other people. The alleged victim also said a known woman had battered her.
RUSSELL - A Russell teenager was taken to Russell Regional Hospital on Monday after the sport utility vehicle she was a passenger in overturned, 2 miles east of Russell on 187th St., or 0.2 miles south of Homer Road.
WINDOM - A tractor-trailer and a Ford Fusion collided at 5:41 p.m. Monday in McPherson County, resulting in injuries. Kansas Highway Patrol reports the accident occurred on US. 56, less than a mile from Windom.
The Great Bend Police Department arrested a local man early Monday on a charge of possession with intent to distribute marijuana. Patton Mills was arrested at 2:01 a.m. at 1801 8th St. and booked in the county jail in lieu of $100,000 bond. Mills was also charged with interference with law enforcement - obstruction of official duty.
