BCC offers Medication Aide Update

Barton Community College will offer a Certified Medication Aide Update to provide CMAs with continuing education and a review of medications and delivery styles. Ellinwood man involved in injury accident in Reno Co.

An Ellinwood man was injured Friday in a two-vehicle collision in Reno County. The Kansas Highway Patrol reports Billy W. Suspected ‘bootlegger’ arrested in Great Bend

Great Bend police have received several reports at various times that beer was being sold out of a home in the southeast part of town on Sundays. At 1:59 p.m. on Sunday, May 22, police arrested Ismael Domingez-Monlanez, 63, at his 405 Walnut St. residence, where evidence was seized. Crime Stoppers wants info on oilfield theft

Sometime between 1 p.m. on May 1 and 2 p.m. on May 3, a burglary occurred at a drilling rig owned by Petromark Drilling. Great Bend Library announces summer hours starting May 31

Great Bend Public Library will begin operating under summers at the end of the month. Effective May 31, the library will be open from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays; 8:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursdays; and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays. It will be closed on Sundays. Regular hours will resume Sept. 6.

GBMS band concert

The Great Bend Middle School Band Department will be having their spring band concerts on Thursday at the Great Bend Middle School gym.
