A Lyons man died Friday in a Rice County accident. Kansas Highway Patrol reports Boe E. Keesling, 32, left a disabled sport utility vehicle after hitting a deer, and was hit by another vehicle. ELLINWOOD - Crime Stoppers of Barton County is offering a reward for information about the theft of a 2010 Yamaha YZ 450 F motorcycle. Great Bend Police Chief Dean Akings, speaking for Crime Stoppers, said the motocross bike was stolen from a storage shed at 315 East Santa Fe in Ellinwood. The shed was broken into sometime between Sept. 15 and 20.

Crime Stoppers of Barton County and Great Bend is seeking information about a burglary that occurred between Oct. 19 and Nov. 6 at 107 East Fourth St. in Ellinwood. The residence showed no signs of forced entry, but a laptop computer, three Ruger revolvers and a Beretta 92SF and an 18-inch double barrel shotgun were stolen.
