Recreation commission starts its 2012 exercise classes

The New Year sessions of exercise classes offered by the Great Bend Recreation Commission got under way Wednesday, but it's not too late to enroll, GBRC Program Coordinator Garet Fitzpatrick said.

Grief support group starts Jan. 16

Library announces free movies, teen game day

Great Bend Public Library, 1409 Williams St., will show "Kung Fu Panda 2" as the first after-school movie of 2012, at 3:30 p.m. Friday. Pickup hits tractor near Olmitz

Snow on I-70 causes injury accidents

Kansas Highway Patrol responded to three injury accidents Thursday on Interstate 70. The first accident occurred at 4:25 a.m. in Trego County, 1.5 miles east of Collier.
