Barton music students to present recital Thursday night

The Barton Community College Department of Music will present a student recital at 7:30 p.m. Thursday in the Dorothy Moses Morrison Chapel, located in Barton's Fine Arts Building, F-157. Girls invited to Princess Tea Parties

Barton Community College will offer a Certified Medication Aide Course from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays, May 7 through June 11. There will be a Drivers Ed parent meeting in the Commons area of the high school on Wednesday Students interested in taking driver education must be age 14 by June 1. Last names starting A-M will meet from 4 to 5 p.m. Last names N-Z will meet from 5 to 6 p.m. Enrollment will take place after the meeting, enrollment forms will not be accepted without payment. ​Recreation Commission board looks at budget time line

The Great Bend Recreation Commission's board of directors will discuss the time line for next year's budget when it meets at 4 p.m. Monday at the Carl Soden Recreation Center, 1214 Stone St. The board will also hear information on the Imagination Playground, Sunflower Community Habilitation Contract, summer program enrollment and the seasonal and part-time employee information handbook.
