Leaving aside anything made with powdered eggs (which don't really count as eggs at all in my book), I've never met an egg dish I didn't like. But at the tippy top of my list of favorites is the edible magic trick known as the souffled omelet.

Diana Hayward has lost nearly 50 pounds on her journey toward a healthier life. Although she has far to go, the Great Bend woman said she's already noticing she has more stamina and is breathing better as a result of her weight loss.
According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), falls are the leading cause of traumatic brain injury (TBI), followed by automobile accidents, being struck in the head and assaults. Furthermore, falls cause half of the TBIs among children aged 0 to 14 years and cause more than 60 percent of all TBIs among adults aged 65 years and older.
Every 68 seconds someone in America develops Alzheimer's disease – a devastating and irreversible brain disease that slowly destroys an individual's cognitive functioning, including memory and thought. Alzheimer's currently affects more than 5.2 million people in the United States and more than 35.6 million worldwide. As the population ages, the number of people diagnosed with Alzheimer's after age 65 will double every five years, while the number of individuals 85 years and older with this disease will triple by 2050.

This March, the Kansas Wheat Commission is teaming up with the Home Baking Association to promote Bake and Take Month. For more than 40 years, Bake and Take Month has been an opportunity to celebrate relationships with friends and family by baking and sharing treats.
(BPT) - As the largest organ of the body, the skin should be well cared for and protected. Winter can pose a host of challenges for those who typically experience dry skin at this time of year. Between dropping and fluctuating temperatures and low humidity, it is easy for skin to feel the negative effects of the season.
I began my year of walking more right after Thanksgiving. I live in a very walkable neighborhood in Great Bend. My house is just blocks from most of the things I need, as well as my job. There are restaurants, coffee shops, entertainment of all sorts, clothing stores, gift stores, grocery stores, banks, doctors and dentists offices, schools, convenience stores--you name it, it's probably within walking distance of where I live. And for me, walking distance is about a half-mile. That's six blocks, for simplicity's sake. Not even enough to work up a sweat.
Warmer weather means more running for me, and while I love a good solo run, my thoughts quickly become boring and obnoxious, even to myself. A better option? Podcasts. A great podcast keeps the mind engaged and distracted while the feet are busy and the legs are burning. It’s like having a conversation without having to do any work. Here are a few of my current favorites. Notice: Only a couple are running related.
