Pawnee County Health Department is pleased to announce they will resume the Lab days beginning on Friday, January the 28th. International Club has fundraiser for Valentine's Day
The International Club of Larned High School is conducting a Valentine's Day Fundraiser. The money raised goes to support exchange students and for special club events. People can pre-order a carnation for $2 or a bag of candy for $1 and have it delivered to a student within the school on Valentine's Day. A message to the recipient may also be included. Monthly lab day resumes Friday
Pawnee County Health Department announces it will resume the lab days, beginning this Friday. The clinic runs from 8:30-10 a.m. Participants need to fast from midnight the evening before. The available lab tests are: Comprehensive Metabolic Panel , $30; PSA (prostate specific antigen), $20; and HGBA1C , $10. The City of Larned regular session council meeting will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Items on the agenda include funding for the Pawnee County Economic Development Commission, fees for mowing services on private property, grant award and request for EMS Supervisor's vehicle, request to replace water utility pickup, allocation of costs for City Wide Clean-up Day, request to increase late charge for utility bills, and grant award for fishing pond outhouse.

Escue Chapel to host Community Thanksgiving Dinner
Larned's annual Community Thanksgiving Dinner will be at noon Thursday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 1111 State St. Escue Chapel, the Rev. Tony Hill, pastor, will be the host church this year.
