Crime Stoppers event was a winner
Dear Editor, Crime Stoppers of Great Bend and Barton County hosted their memorial softball coed tournament in Ellinwood, Oct. 2 and 3. The purpose of the event was to make the public aware that Barton County has five people who lost their lives to foul play and these cases are currently still unsolved. Dear Editor, It's just wrong. Secret campaign cash should have no place in our American democracy. But now we are seeing huge sums of money from secret sources going into campaign advertising, much of it the negative advertising that poisons the airways. Dear Editor, Kansas Legislative District 112 representative candidate, Christina Stein, is pro-education. The Kansas Association of School Boards gives legislators' education voting records to school board members. Sen. Ruth Teichmann is the only area legislator who consistently votes for education dollars and educational opportunities for K-12, community, technical, and university students. Myers explains actions at meeting
Yes I walked out of the council meeting. I should not have even sat there to begin with as I had told them I would not play their childish game and then I did. This was a planned rehearsed orchestrated attempt to discredit me with the voters. I wonder how many if not all of the council members discussed this with each other prior to the meeting.
