On July 15, 1953 she married Robert F. Hipp in Great Bend. He died on Oct. 12, 1989. A lifelong resident of Great Bend, moving to Salina in 2009, she was employed for U.S.D. 428 as a Certified Food Service worker for 15 years, retiring in 1994. She was a gifted seamtress.
