FRANKTOWN, COLO. - Robert E. Lee Hartman Sr., 88, died Jan. 2 at his rural home Franktown, Colo. Born April 3, 1922, on the family farm in South Bend Township, just south of Great Bend, he was the son of Edgar and Gertrude Wilson Hartman. Opal Marie McCullough, 95, died Nov. 21, 2013, at 10 a.m., at her home in Great Bend. She was born Nov. 27, 1917, in Wilmore, the daughter of Ather and Ella Burnett. She had two brothers, Carl and Orbia Burnett, who preceded her in death. She had lived in Great Bend since November, 1961, coming from Wichita. She married Paul W. McCullough on July 16, 1939. He was a partner of the former Self-Service Drug stores and preceded her in death on Jan. 24, 1975.
