He married CArla Scheuerman on June 12, 1993, at Great Bend. He worked for Mid States Supply, McPherson, as a warehouse foreman. He was a McPherson resident for seven years, coming from Great Bend.

GLENMORA, La. - Champion Ray "Butch" McNett, 40, formerly of Great Bend, entered eternal rest on Friday, Sept. 24, at his Glenmora, La., residence. He was born June 17, 1970, in Salina, to the unionof Champion Fredrick McNett and Marie Alice McNett. He was a loving son, husband, father, brother, uncle, coach and friend. He was one of the biggest Dallas Cowboys football fans. He loved coaching his sons in football and baseball. He also loved hunting, fishing, and car racing, and was a drummer at heart.
KANSAS CITY, Kan. - William Harold Clark Sr., 86, passed away on Oct. 30 at Providence Medical Center. Born May 10, 1924, in Kansas City, he was the son of William R. and Lucy (Holmes) Clark. OSAWATOMIE - Donald D. Smith, 85, died Oct. 29 at Olathe Medical Center, Olathe. He was born Sept. 16, 1925, at Hoisington, the son of Clarence and Callie (Payne) Smith. He married Etta Imogene Lumley on June 5, 1953, at Bartlesville, Okla. She died Oct. 9, 2004. He was a retired heavy equipment operator for Kansas Brick and Tile of Hoisington.
