She married Gordon Hicks on April 15, 2004, at Hoisington. She was a homemaker and had been a Hoisington resident since 2001, coming from Alva, Okla.

Born Oct. 16, 1976, in Wichita, he was the son of Robert Wayne and Peggy (Lietzke) Kasper Sr. A resident of Great Bend since 1980, coming from El Dorado, he was a truck driver for Sioux Tank Service. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, drag racing, motorcycle riding and automotive work.

A lifetime area resident she was a farmwife and an occupational therapist for the Larned State Hospital for 25 years.
