Larry W. Jimison, 66, died Oct. 21 at Promise Regional Medical Center in Hutchinson. Born Oct. 27, 1944 in Stafford, he was the son of Howard David and Verda Marie (Staley) Jimison. On Nov. 24, 1964, he married Sue Curtis in Ellsworth. A resident of Great Bend for 47 years, coming from Lorraine, he was the Water Superintendent for the city of Great Bend, working at the water department for 47 years.
OTIS - Sharon Royer, 52, died Dec. 19 in Rush County. Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Ann's Catholic Church in Olmitz. Rosary will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday at the church, with a wake starting at 6:30 p.m. Visitation will be held Thursday, from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. at Nicholson-Ricke Funeral Home in Hoisington. HOISINGTON - Don L. Clutter, 65, died Dec. 17 at Kansas Heart Hospital in Wichita. Born Feb. 22, 1946, in North Tonawanda, N.Y., he was the son of Elmer and Elsie Ruth (Sellers) Clutter. On June 14, 1986, he married Angie Kaiser in Great Bend. A lifetime resident of Hoisington, he was a retired maintenance employee for Natural Gas Pipeline in Albert. He served as a Drill Sergeant in the Army National Guard. He loved spending time with his children and grandchildren, and his dog Ruger, enjoyed hunting, fishing and motorcycles.
BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - Louis J. Miller, 96, Bloomington, Ill., died on Dec. 8 at Martin Health Care Center in Bloomington, Ill. Born Aug. 26, 1915, in Albert, he was the son of Conrad and Anna Reints Miller. On July 29, 1940, he married Lorene K. Tesch in St. Louis, Mo., and she survives. Louis was a master carpenter and craftsman. He owned Miller Cabinet Shop for 35 years, retiring at age 72.
PAMPA, Texas - Juanita Marie Woydziak Brower died Dec. 16 in Oklahoma City, Okla. Mrs. Brower was born Sept. 1, 1936, in Hoisington, to Arsenius and Mathilda Woydziak. She attended St. Joseph's elementary school in Beaver. Her freshman and sophomore years she attended Sacred Heart Academy in Wichita, and graduated high school in Hoisington in 1954. She married Bobby Lindsey Brower on Jan. 17, 1955 in Beaver. He preceded her in death on Sept. 20, 2002 after 48 years of marriage. ODIN – Mary M. Wondra, 92, died April 12, at Great Bend Regional Medical Center. Born Oct. 12, 1922, in Odin, she was the daughter of Joseph V. and Frances M. (Tinkel) Jenisch. She graduated from Odin High School. On April 29, 1946, she married William Wondra in Odin. He died Nov. 13, 1996. A lifetime resident of the Odin and Claflin area, she was a homemaker.

CLAFLIN - Maxine L. Riemann, 93, died April 12 at Woodhaven Care Center, Ellinwood. Born March 25, 1922 at Ellinwood, she was the daughter of Carl H. and Alice Bell (Hoadley) Schmidt.

Born Aug. 19, 1960 at Hereford, Texas, she was the daughter of Herman McDonald "Johnny" and Ouida (Stayton) Wray. She married Gerald "Jerry" Richards July 13, 1991 at Hereford, Texas. She was a secretary for Stanion Wholesale Electric. Mrs. Richards was an Otis, Kansas resident since 2001, moving to Kansas in 1995.

GREAT BEND - Tommy Max Schulz, 81, died April 8, 2015 at Arkansas Veterans Home at Fayetteville in Fayetteville, Ark. Born Feb. 16, 1934, in Chapman, he was the son of Walter Joseph and Marcella (Keegan) Schulz. On Dec. 23, 1958, he married Donna Fay Richards in Kanopolis. She died on Aug. 26, 1985. He earned his bachelor and master degrees fro Fort Hays State University. A resident of Great Bend since 1962, coming from Hays and moving to Wichita in 2005, he was an English teacher at Roosevelt Junior High and Great Bend Middle School.
PLAINVILLE - Juanita Geneva (Jordan) Casey passed away April 7, 2015 at Hays Medical Center at the age of 92. She was born on Jan. 9, 1923, in Jennings, Okla. to the late Edmund Earl "Doc" and Flora (Cranbrink) Jordan.
