ENTERPRISE - Robert Leroy Reynolds, 47, of Enterprise, formerly of Great Bend, died Sept. 19, 2011, at Memorial Health Systems in Abilene.
GREAT BEND - Ryan Joseph Bealer, 21, died Sept. 20, 2011 at Stormont-Vail Regional Health Center, Topeka.
ELLINWOOD - Harold Edward Boepple, 70 died Sept. 19 at St. Francis Via Christi Hospital in Wichita. He was born Oct. 29, 1940 in Great Bend, the son of Ed and Dorothy Roelse Boepple. A lifetime Ellinwood resident, he was an oilfield worker at Weatherford Services, retiring in 1998. He graduated in 1959 from Ellinwood High School. He was also co-owner of G&H Insurance in Great Bend.
Gladys M. Bloodworth, 92, died Sept. 19 at River Bend Assisted Living in Great Bend. Born June 18, 1919 in Carmi, Ill., she was the daughter of Daniel and Minnie A. (Argo) Hucker. On March 28, 1937, she married Orval R. Bloodworth in Carmi, Ill. He died on July 27, 1978. A resident of Great Bend since 1952, she was a seamstress at Marlett Homes, retiring in 1980.
CLAFLIN - Albert H. Soeken, 96, died Sept. 17 at Woodhaven Care Center in Ellinwood. Born Dec. 19, 1914 in Barton County, he was the son of Henry and Anna (Lubinus) Soeken. On May 7, 1941, he married Viola Knop in Ellinwood. She died in September, 1999. A lifetime resident of Claflin, he was a farmer. He was a Dekalb seed dealer.
ESTES PARK, Colo. - A graveside service will be held for former resident Jerri Robinson who died on May 20 in Estes Park, Colo. The service will take place at 3 p.m. on Saturday at Hillcrest Cemetery in Great Bend. In the event of inclement weather, the service will take place at First Presbyterian Church in Great Bend. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Estes Valley in care of the funeral home.
DIGHTON - Beverly Ann Moomaw, 73, died Sept. 16 at Via Christi Regional Medical Center-St. Francis campus in Wichita. Born Jan. 1, 1938 in Meade, she was the daughter of Berend H. and Hazel Ruby (Hill) Cordes. In 1956, she graduated from Meade High School and attended Emporia State University for one year. LARNED - Tina Louise Phillips-Marler, 46, passed away Sept. 13, 2011, at her daughter's home in Larned. She was born Oct. 20, 1964, in Sparta, Ill.; the daughter of Stanley Stanko, Charles Sylvester and Judith Ann Carlyle Marler. A Larned resident since 1984, moving from Scott City; she worked in Dietary at the Larned State Hospital and also various restaurants.

Dan Allen Noblitt, 78, died May 4 at his home in Great Bend. Born Oct. 16, 1934 in Great Bend, he was the son of George O. and Edith (Marsh) Noblitt. On April 18, 1958 he married Thelma Beebe in Norwalk, Calif. A long time resident of Great Bend, he was most recently employed as a regional manager for Super 8 Motels.
BELPRE - Helen R. Berscheidt, 94, died April 19, at the Halstead Health and Rehabilitation Center. Born Nov. 22, 1918, she was the daughter of Matt and Martha Heinke Maes. On Feb. 4, 1941 she married John N. Berscheidt in Claflin. He passed away in 1974. A lifetime area resident she was a farmwife and an occupational therapist for the Larned State Hospital for 25 years.
