Barton and Barbara Hoar will celebrate their 50th anniversary with a reception from 2 to 4 p.m. on May 7 at the Central Baptist Church. Schamaun 60th
Loren and Arlene Schamaun will celebrate their 60th anniversary on April 29 with a family dinner. The couple was married on April 29, 1951 at the Bazine Methodist Church. They have two children, Marsha Gerstner and Steve Schamaun and wife Sheryl; five grandchildren, Emily, Matthew and Adam Gerstner and Zac and Nic Schamaun.

Bill and Louise Besperat of Timken will celebrate their 60th anniversary on April 16, with a card shower.
Schremmer 50th
Wayne and Theresa Schremmer of Wichita, will celebrate their 50th anniversary with a square dance/variety dance from 7:30 to 10 p.m. on April 27 at the Andover Community Center, 1008 East 13th Street, in Andover. Hosts for the event will be their children, Paula White, Pamela Long, Mark Schremmer, Brenda Rauber and Steve Schremmer; 14 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Friends and family are invited to attend.

Norman and Hilda Chakir will celebrate their 30th anniversary and Hilda's 95th birthday from 2 to 4 p.m. on April 10 at the Senior Center, 2005 Kansas, in Great Bend. Hosts for the celebration will be Hilda's children, Judy Burnett, Sandy and Taylor Smith, both of Great Bend and Ron and Pat Griffith of Smith Center.
