Leo J. and Dorothy A. (Dreher) Schmidt celebrated their 65th anniversary on Jan. 13. Leo is retired from Smith Tool Company. Pivonka 65th
Bud and Melva Pivonka of Timken, celebrated their 65th anniversary on Dec. 24. Melva Gillig and Bud Pivonka were united in marriage on Dec. 24, 1946. The couple has three children, Steve Pivonka, Nancy Pivonka, and David Pivonka; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Hayden 60th
Mr. and Mrs. Leo L. Hayden celebrated their 60th anniversary on Dec. 22. Leo and Bertie Lou (Siefkes) Hayden were married Dec. 22, 1951 at Peace United Church of Christ, Hudson. The couple's children are Connie Sue and husband James of Wichita and the late Denise Lee. They have a granddaughter, Megan, of Wichita.
Gaede 40th
Jim and Dolly Gaede, of Larned, will celebrate their 40th anniversary on Dec. 26. The couple was united in marriage at the Presbyterian Church in Larned with the Rev. David P. Irwin officiating.
Vogt 50th
Larry and Phyllis Vogt celebrated their 50th anniversary with a family dinner hosted by their children, Tom and Sue Vogt, of Grand Rapids, Mich., Tim and Fern Vogt, of Siloam Springs, Ark., Kris and Gary Classen, of Liberal, and Terry and Sharon Vogt, of Joplin, Mo. The couple has 11 grandchildren.
Kaiser 50th
Marvin and Bernice Kaiser, of Hays, will celebrate their 50th anniversary on Jan. 1 with a family dinner followed by an Open House from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at St. Nicholas of Myra Parish Hall, 2901 E. 13th Street in Hays, The couple requests no gifts.
Sprick 50th
Rev. Lloyd and Judy Sprick will celebrate their 50th anniversary from 2 to 4 p.m. on Dec. 18 with an open house at St. Peter Lutheran church Parish Hall in Holyrood. The event will be hosted by their children, Matthew and Jill Sprick of Hiawatha, Stephen and Joanna Sprick of Osborne, Jenelle Sprick of Overland Park and Sara and Scott McMahan of Blue Springs, Mo. The couple has 10 grandchildren.

Ken W. and Rosemary (Demel) Schremmer celebrated their 50th anniversary on Dec. 2. Rosemary Demel and Ken Schremmer were united in marriage on Dec. 2, 1961, at the Holy Family Parish Church in Odin. Larry and Lorrie Ruble elebrated their 25th anniversary on Nov. 5 with a reception hosted by Jim and Millie Meroney and a trip on Nov. 14 to Las Vegas, Nev. with friends.

Bill and Helen Walker will celebrate their 50th Anniversary with a gathering hosted by their children at 5 p.m. on Nov. 25 at the Eggleston Building, 418 Broadway in Larned. Friends and family are invited.

Mr. and Mrs. Larry Kopke will celebrate their 50th anniversary on Nov. 22 with a family dinner. Later they will celebrate with a travel group cruising the Blue Danube River and visiting the Christmas Markets of Europe. Gingrich 50th
Teddy and Carol Gingrich will celebrate their 50th anniversary with an open house from 2 to 4 p.m. on Nov. 19, at the Zook Community Building. Hosts for the event are their children, Shari and Jim Soukup, Tim and Serena Neidig, Lori and Brent Lamar; and their grandchildren Nathan and Katie Neidig, and Nick and Kara Neidig.
Panning 60th
Larry and Dorothy Panning of Ellinwood will be celebrating their 60th anniversary with a family dinner at noon on Nov. 20 at the St. John's Lutheran Church Youth Center in Ellinwood. A public reception will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. at 6th and Wilhelm in Ellinwood. No gifts are requested.
