Bailey 50th
Jack and LaDean Bailey celebrated their 50th anniversary on Oct. 25 with a card shower. Jack Bailey and LaDean Cooley were united in marriage on Oct. 25, 1961 at the Christian Church in Cunningham. The couple celebrated in July with a family trip to Kansas City. They have three children, Ron and Nancy Bailey of Franklin, Ind., Aleisha and Tom Bragg of Gordon, Neb., and Wendy and Mike Howe of Castle Rock, Colo.; and eight grandchildren.
Marcum 50th
Keith and Marie Marcum will celebrate their 50th anniversary on Nov. 4 with a card shower. The couple was married at Antioch Church of the Nazarene in Overland Park. Together they have found a friendship and built a beautiful marriage.

Norman and Pauline Herrmann of Kinsley, will celebrate their 50th anniversary on Nov. 5. Pauline Debes and Norman Herrmann were married Nov. 4, 1961 in Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Larned. The couple has one daughter, Traci Poer, and husband Mark of Ingalls; and two grandsons, Wyatt and Ty Poer of Ingalls. Glynn and Nancy Mortimer will celebrate their 60th anniversary later this year with a family gathering in Kansas City planned by their daughters.

Ted and Ingrid Bird celebrated their 50th anniversary with a river cruise to the south of France. Their children and families hosted a celebration in their honor at the Bird home on the farm.

The couple was accompanied on their trip by Mryla's sister and brother-in-law, Delora and Marvin Baldwin of Great Bend, their three children and spouses, Evan and Nicki Keenan of Spring, Texas, Mark and Valerie Hardy of Sherman, Texas, and Kent and Roxanne Keenan of Great Bend. Many of their grandchildren were also in attendance.
