Wilbur Cotten will celebrate his 91st birthday with a family dinner. Wilbur was born on April 3, 1921, in Stockton. On June 21, 1947, he married Phoebe Joyce Benedick. She died on Jan. 10, 1977. A toolpusher in the oilfield, he retired in 1990. His children are Bill and Janet Dayton, Jodi and Jim Snyder, Joe and Ginger Cotten, Jeff and Tammy Cotten and the late Jennifer Marsh. He has nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Maxine Rogers 101st
Maxine Rogers will celebrate her 101st birthday on March 27 with a card shower. Maxine was born March 27, 1911, in Larned. She married Preston Rogers on Jan. 2, 1932. He died May 3, 1988.
