HOISINGTON -Once again there will be a Labor Day Baby Contest in conjunction with the annual Labor Day activities in Hoisington. A Labor Day Baby will be named during the Labor Day weekend, and the winner will receive a cash award of $100, a $100 a savings bond and memento.

CLALFIN - On a windy Memorial Day, Claflin residents and former Claflin residents were present at the Claflin Cemetery to commemorate those who died in military service and, in a separate ceremony, the beginning of the Claflin Ambulance Service.

HOISINGTON - The 18th annual Clara Barton Hospital Foundation's Golf Benefit is looking to hit a "big drive for Cardiac Equipment." On Friday, June 17, the Foundation will hold its annual event to raise vital funding to replace aging cardiac equipment in the Emergency Room.
