HOISINGTON - The Hoisington Elementary Parents Association is once again in the final planning stages for the annual school carnival which will be held Feb. 5 at the Hoisington Activity Center.
HOISINGTON - Hoisington residents had a second major water leak in less than a week and experienced low water pressure on Friday, according to Paul Zecha, director of Public Works. They also had a main transmission line fracture on Tuesday.

Easter Egg Hunt to be held
ELLINWOOD - At its regular meeting on Tuesday, the Ellinwood City council discussed traffic flow in front of Ellinwood Grade School on Sixth Street.
This has been a very exciting week. I have enjoyed my five Canadian friends who come almost every year to hunt turkeys with their traditional archery equipment. They got three turkeys and departed on Thursday. Being up by 4:30 a.m. to get coffee and head out for 10 days in a row gives us time to re-affirm our friendship.
