HHS to require additional Nutrition and Wellness class for graduation

HOISINGTON - After being the Plant Manager of Superior Essex in Hoisington for 24 years and 8 months, Brent Rensch is retiring and plans to spend his days doing a lot of hunting, fishing, golfing and traveling. He will stay in the area.

Alan Fullbright Scholarships awarded

ELLINWOOD - The criterion for the Alan Fullbright Scholarship are a reflection of what was significant in Alan Fullbright's life. The 2013 scholarship recipients are Stephanie Troyer who will be majoring in Music Education and attending Barton Community College. She has held several offices in KAY, FBLA, International Club and was the Student Council secretary and vice president of her class.
