RSVP to hold Holiday Oepn House

The Retired and Senior Volunteer Program will hold its annual RSVP Holiday Appreciation Open House from 9:30-11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 7, at the Ellinwood Senior Center. This come-and-go event is for all volunteers who have worked throughout the year.

Schartz receives early admission

Hillary Schartz, freshman in animal sciences and industry, Claflin, was one of seventeen pre-veterinary students to have been selected as Early Admission Scholars by the College of Veterinary Medicine at Kansas State University.

Claflin Library to host 'Goodies by the Pound'

The Claflin Independent Township Library will host a "Goodies by the Pound" fundraiser, with homemade cookies, candy and other treats. The cost is $6 per pound from 9 a.m. to noon on Dec. 4.
