I am reminding everyone to wear their seat belts when operating or riding as a passenger in a motor vehicle. The most current seat belt law which allows law enforcement officers the ability to stop a vehicle if either of the front seat occupants in a vehicle are seen not wearing a seat belt.

HOISINGTON - USD 431 Superintendent Bill Lowry opened the district's honors banquet awards ceremony by saying that he was very proud of the students and their accomplishments. Nineteen students were recognized for having a grade point average of 3.5 or above.

Hoisington NHS inducts new members
HOISINGTON -After this school year, the Mid Central Activities Association activity league, which Hoisington Middle School and High School were members of, will disband. Hoisington High School will join the Central Kansas League.
