Work on World Trade Center Memorials underway

HOISINGTON - The word is out – Bruce Bitter of B&B Metal Arts was chosen to create the World Trade Center memorials to be placed in seven Kansas airports to commemorate the 10th anniversary of Sept. 11, 2001.

Hoisington’s 115th Annual Labor Day celebration to hold basketball tournament

HOISINGTON - Once again the Hoisington Labor Day Committee will host a 3-on-3 basketball tournament. The cost is $50 per four-man team. Team registrations and payment must be made by Wednesday, Aug. 31.

EDH to continue project meetings

ELLINWOOD -At its meeting on Monday, the Ellinwood District Hospital Board said they will continue to hold further meetings on the improvement project determining feasability and viability of the project, said Richard Kimple, president of the board.
