The Ellinwood Farmers Market will begin July 21 on the west side of the American Legion in the park area. The time is to be announced.
A meeting will be held at the USD 431 District Office at 9:45 a.m. on July 21 with representatives from KODT to discuss Phase II of the Safe Routes to School funding.

A co-ed softball tournament in memory of Maxton Foster Burkey will be held on Saturday, July 30 and Sunday, July 31, at the Hoisington softball field.
HOISINGTON - Hoisington High School will continue its efforts with character education that began in 2010-11 this next school year. Character education is common in elementary schools, but the district will continue to teach good character in high school.
