HOISINGTON - The Hoisington School Board met at its regular meeting on Monday, and adopted a resolution regarding a 'suitable' education and is seeking input from the community on what a suitable education is. The Kansas Constitution requires that students be provided a 'suitable' education.
HOISINGTON - April 12 is D.E.A.R. Day. D.E.A.R. is an acronym for Drop Everything And Read. For this nationwide day the Hoisington Middle School KAYs and the Title I Reading program decided to host an event that would promote literacy. On April 12, there will be a Scholastic Book Fair at the Hoisington Activity Center in the meeting room. The Fair will be open from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. where the public can purchase books for all ages.
