HOISINGTON - Each nine weeks, Hoisington Middle School faculty and staff choose students who have shown leadership throughout the school. This can include being respectful to adults and students, improving in grades, being helpful in and out of the classroom, and just showing leadership qualities.

Hunter Donecker first Kans for Kids ambassador

HOISINGTON - Kans for Kids Fighting Cancer Foundation is proud to announce the appointment of Hunter Donecker, 8, Pawnee Rock, as the first Kans for Kids Ambassador during the organization's 3rd Annual Radiothon on Friday, March 8. USD 431 holds Honor Banquet

HOISINGTON - Fifteen Hoisington High School seniors were recognized last week for their achievements academically throughout high school. The Honor Banquet is reserved for those students who have maintained a grade point average of 3.5 or greater on a 4.0 scale for seven consecutive semesters.

Hoisington City Council unanimously approves new trash service providing single stream recycling

HOISINGTON - The Hoisington City Council unanimously approved a service agreement with Stutzman Refuse Disposal Inc. out of south Hutchinson to provide solid waste and recycling services for the community. The agreement will start April 15.

City of Hoisington to hold special meeting HOISINGTON - The city of Hoisington will hold a special meeting at noon today, March 15 at the council chambers, 109. E.
