KSU Ag Profitability Conference to be held in Hoisington

HOISINGTON - The Barton County Extension Council will host the 2011 Kansas State University Ag Profitability Conference on Feb. 16 at the Knights of Columbus in Hoisington. Registration starts at 9 a.m. and the program runs from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. A noon lunch will be served. Colson named to CBH position

Ellinwood Rotary announces theme for AHF Parade

ELLINWOOD - The criterion for the Alan Fullbright Scholarship are a reflection of what was significant in Alan Fullbright's life. The 2013 scholarship recipients are Stephanie Troyer who will be majoring in Music Education and attending Barton Community College. She has held several offices in KAY, FBLA, International Club and was the Student Council secretary and vice president of her class.
