FORT LARNED - The Fort Larned National Historic Site's 2015 Candlelight Tour will tell the story of the dangers of serving on the plains of Kansas in the 1860s and how the Army handled the U.S. mail on the frontier.
The Larned Lady Indian golf team captured first place at the Russell golf tournament Monday. Haley Skelton earned the first place medal with a 45 followed by teammates Dorothy Keenan, runner-up; and third-place finisher Emma Ayre. Larned shot 195 to finish seven strokes ahead of Hoisington.
