Larned Juvenile renamed in 1997

LARNED - The Larned Juvenile Correctional Facility (LJCF) houses about 230 male juvenile offenders. LJCF has seven general population units, two mental health units and one special management unit. All units are surrounded by a secure perimeter fence.

Larned High basketball camp

The Larned Lady Indians will feature a new high school basketball coach, Ashley Crosby, a former assistant coach. Her assistants will be Karrie Sleder and Nicholas Junker. Crosby held a basketball camp for first through sixth-grade girls recently with several high school girls serving as camp coaches.
