The Larned Lady Indians will feature a new high school basketball coach, Ashley Crosby, a former assistant coach. Her assistants will be Karrie Sleder and Nicholas Junker. Crosby held a basketball camp for first through sixth-grade girls recently with several high school girls serving as camp coaches.
LARNED - Open to all Kansas farmers, the Pawnee County Market Wheat Show honors the highest-quality sample of wheat based on a scoring system that will take into protein, test weight, dockage, mill and bake quality, and the percentage that is shrunken and broken.

LARNED - Pawnee County Attorney John M. Settle has filed for re-election. Settle was first appointed to the office by Kansas Gov. Bill Graves in July of 1995. He has served as Pawnee County Attorney continuously since that time.
