A tornado developed six miles southwest of Rozel at 7:18 p.m. and moved one mile west of town before turning to the northwest and dissipating about three miles northwest of Rozel at 7:47 p.m. Five farms were damaged by this tornado, including one farm house that lost most of its roof and some of its exterior walls.
