LARNED - The Larned Chamber of Commerce and Pawnee County Economic Development Commission celebrated a year of success at its annual banquet Thursday at the Larned Community Center. Voting for the Employee and Business of the Year was done by Chamber members.

The Kansas Department of Transportation is scheduled to begin an asphalt construction project in Pawnee County Thursday morning. Work will be done on the surface of U.S. 183, between the intersection with U.S. 56 and the intersection with K-156 Highway.

LARNED - Terry and Marilyn Perez of Larned were recently honored as the first recipients of the Denise Stabler Foster Care Award of Excellence from Associated Youth Services.
