It is a tough time to be a Russian. They have no astronauts on the moon, the Democrats have accused them of interfering in our elections, they DID conspire with Hillary to get ahold of most of the United States' uranium supply and now the International Olympic Committee has barred Russia and its sports leaders from the upcoming games in Pyeonchang, South Korea. If this trend continues, the next thing we will be told is that Dr. Zhivago has been accused of sexual harassment DESPITE being wrapped up in that bearskin coat!

Exciting changes coming for Kansas license buyers

PRATT – When you purchase your 2018 licenses and permits from the Kansas Department of Wildlife, Parks and Tourism, you'll likely notice some changes. As usual, annual and 14-day camp permits and most other annual licenses will be available on Dec. 15, 2017. The campsite and cabin reservation system for 2018 will go live Dec. 18, 2017. Now for the changes:

Kudos to the Fort Hays State Tigers on their first unbeaten regular football season. They earned a No. 1 seed in their Super Region of the NCAA Division II Football Championships. The Tigers earned a first round bye and are guaranteed of at least one home game.

K-State events available online

MANHATTAN -- Kansas State fans can watch basketball games on their phones and tablets by downloading the K-State Athletics app via the App Store and Google Play or on their televisions with Roku. Fans located outside the Sunflower State and the Kansas City area can watch games on ESPN3, which is readily available on most streaming devices.

FHSU completes undefeated season

HAYS - Fort Hays State completed an undefeated regular season on Saturday (Nov. 11) by defeating long-time rival Nebraska-Kearney 41-7 on Senior Day at Lewis Field Stadium. The Tigers moved to 11-0 overall, while the Lopers finished their season at 3-8. Fort Hays State will now await the announcement of seeding for the NCAA Playoffs on Sunday afternoon at 4 pm.
