The sixth grade Great Bend Sharp Shooters won the Dodge City Shoot-Out MAYB Basketball Tournament on Jan. 10. They went undefeated in the tournament beating Hays Arsenal, Liberal and Hays Tribe. Both the Great Bend boys and girls bowling teams started off their 2015 WAC seasons with home wins against the visiting Dodge City Red Demons. The Panther boys dominated the entire match as they earned all 11 points possible in the contest. The Panthers were led by senior Jeff Meitler who had an exceptional day.
