Walnut Bowl participates in national Kids Bowl Free program

Walnut Bowl of Great Bend is participating in the summer program Kids Bowl Free. That means that any kid 15-and-under who is registered with the program can bowl two free games every day. WICHITA - In an announcement by the State of Kansas Sports Hall of Fame on Wednesday, former K-State standouts Kendra Wecker (women's basketball) and Mark Simoneau (football) have been selected as members of the 50th Anniversary Class of 2011.
