Charlie's Inside Corner: Paradigm shift

A paradigm shift is a sudden change in perception, a sudden change in point of view, a sudden change in how one sees things. Kansas University football needs a paradigm shift. The road to that is to get real, get local, get invested or get out!

Charlie's Inside Corner: Did you see that?

The Kansas City Royals' latest hot-shot pitcher is quite a "looker". Johnny Cueto has got mojo. Johnny Cueto has got an attitude. Johnny Cueto is quite a pitcher and Johnny Cueto has got those "dreads".

Charlie's Inside Corner: Fighting with the Stars

I know, it's supposed to be "Dancing With The Stars" but, this week, it is more appropriate to call it "Fighting With The Stars". Last Sunday the high-flying Kansas City Royals and the resurgent Toronto Blue Jays got into a couple of bench-clearing "fights".

Charlie’s Inside Corner: Political endorsements

I see that Dennis Rodman has endorsed Donald Trump for President. Fitting? Kiss of death for Trump? Never one for the ordinary, Rodman-who maintains a friendship with the maverick North Korean leader Kim Jon Ung-and Trump do have a lot in common, even, perhaps, their politics. Both "shoot from the lip", both have wild and unruly hair and both have been at the top of their professions. I'm not sure how "The Donald" would look with lip, tongue and nose piercings!
