Hoisington Middle School seventh-grade girls take first

ELLSWORTH - The Hoisington Middle School track team competed in Ellsworth on Tuesday. The seventh-grade girls took first place by a 32-point margin with 125. Family combinations featured during races at S.R.C.A. Drag Strip over weekend

It was a family affair for the NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series Thunder on the Plains at the S.R.C.A. Drag Strip this past weekend as Glen Amerine nearly shared the winner's circle with his son Craig, who was the runner up in Top Sportsman, and brothers battled in the final round for the Stock Eliminator championship.
