Changing the Kansas State High School Activities Association is more about Hope than Change. You've got a better chance of quickly turning the Titanic to avoid the iceberg than you do of getting the KSHSAA to implement change. But we can hope.
The Barton Community College basketball programs will begin first round action of the Region VI playoffs tonight, as both teams will be taking on Coffeyville Community College. The men's team, the No. 6 seed in the region, will play their game at home versus the No. 11 seeded Ravens in a 7 p.m. tip at the Barton Gym with free admission for all fans. The Lady Cougars, being the No. 11 seed in the women's bracket, will travel to Coffeyville for a 7 p.m. tip at Nellis Hall against the No. 6 Lady Ravens.
