Stafford wrestling team showing promise

STAFFORD --Tanner Sipes (160) is Stafford's regional contestant returning from last year. Mikey Aguilar was a 2014 state qualifier with a 33-11 record who missed last season with an injury. State qualifier Trenton Weber (145) graduated after placing fourth at regionals and finished with a 25-9 record.

MACKSVILLE - The Macksville Mustangs endured a rare 7-15 record last year, but still pulled a 49-44 shocker against Otis-Bison in the substate semifinals. Skyline beat the Mustangs 42-27 in the Class 1A-Division 1 substate finals.
