Great Bend Panther Bowling results

On Friday and Saturday, the Great Bend boys and girls bowling teams competed in the 30 team Great Plains Tournament which was held in Wichita. Only the top eight teams qualify for the championship round. The Panther boys qualified in the 6th position and faced Wichita Heights who was the 3rd place qualifier. The format is then the best of 3 bakers games. The Panther boys defeated Wichita Heights in two games which earned them a place in the semi-finals against the #2 seed Garden City. LARNED - Great Bend's Braulio Vargas (152-160) and Blake Ridgel (170-182) placed first at the Larned JV Wrestling Tournament Saturday. Vargas won five matches on pins. Ridgel won four of five matches on pins.
